Today I’m sitting down with Jess (aka Jessie-girl, who is ALWAYS around to cover, and looks STUPIDLY AMAZING post-baby...) to ask her a few quick q’s. Jess brings so much fire to the CC studio, and it is so evident just how much she really is, a CC Babe. Jess is one of those staff members (for lack of a better term) that you stumble across and count your lucky stars. She loves CC, the brand, the clients, teaching reformer pilates and is a NEXT LEVEL team player.
Jess has extensive experience in the fitness space, and has translated her knowledge to the reformer, bringing you spicy classes that are intelligently planned and full of body-loving goodness. I am honestly so inspired by her passion and love for reformer. She is always keen to get on that bed, and her enthusiasm is second to none.
Enjoy this read, my angels.

Can you tell us a bit about how you got started working in the pilates space?
I previously was a yoga teacher and started reformer Pilates to strengthen my yoga practise. I ended up completely falling in LOVE with it and couldn’t stay away, so decided to do my teacher training & I’ve never looked back since!
What do you love most about being a Core Culture trainer?
The community! The clients and other trainers are the best of the best and the space is absolutely beautiful. I couldn’t imagine being anywhere else.
And if you weren’t a pilates teacher/fitness trainer, what do you think you’d be doing instead?
Gosh that’s a hard one- I always say I have the best job in the world and really couldn’t imagine doing anything else!
What does a day in the life of Jess look like?
Most days start with CC (either teaching or doing a class myself), I then head home to take my son (little Marley) out and about to the beach, park etc. The afternoon is either filled with a big walk or yoga and then finished off chilling at home with the family.
Where can we find you on the weekend?
We love balance on the weekends! CC in the morn, beach or markets through the day and having margs with the girls in the afternoon.
What is one thing you wish you could tell your younger self?
Balance is key - so don’t take everything so seriously.
CC Quickie:
Your coffee order?
I don’t drink coffee but love an oat sticky chai or ice oat matcha.
Next destination on your travel bucket list?
I’m such a home body so would love to just do a trip around Australia.
Favourite CC Class Style?
Core Sweat. If you're going to do it, go all out!
What are you reading or watching atm?
I wish it was something inspirational but I’m watching Ginny & Georgia & reading Apples Don’t Fall.
Go-to activewear styling piece?
Outerwear (jacket, shirt etc).
